Scope
These notices concern this website and its browser-based link and account functions. Data processing within the iOS app, iCloud and community services is separate; this text does not replace the information provided for those services.
Accessing the website
To deliver the requested page, the web server processes your IP address and technical request data, such as the requested URL, request time and browser information. The purpose is to deliver the website and establish the connection. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing the website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
No server access logs are created. Technical request data is processed for delivery and is not retained in access logs. The technical hosting service handles requests on our behalf.
Cookies and usage tracking
The landing page and these legal pages do not set cookies, use browser local storage or include analytics, advertising trackers, third-party fonts or embedded third-party media. Images and styles are loaded from this website. The language selection is passed through the URL and is not stored in a cookie.
Email links and account functions
If you open an email confirmation or password reset link, its verification token and language selection are processed to display the link page and allow you to continue in the app. Tokens may appear in your browser history. Do not share these links with others. The purpose is to perform the account action you requested; the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. The page does not independently store tokens in cookies or browser local storage.
If you actively use optional browser test functions, the login details, device identifier, access tokens, catch data or sharing settings you enter are transmitted to the selected API to execute your request. Depending on the action, the account or catch data remains in the associated service until you change or delete it; applicable retention obligations may also apply. Opening the landing page does not trigger these functions.
Contacting us
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process your contact information and the information you provide to answer your request. Depending on its subject, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual requests, or our legitimate interest in responding under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We retain the correspondence while required to resolve your request and, where applicable, to comply with statutory retention obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Email and telephone service providers may process the communication for its delivery.
External links
The App Store and other external destinations are opened only when you follow their links. The respective provider then processes your request under its own privacy information. The landing page does not load App Store content in the background.
Your rights
Where the applicable requirements are met, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. If processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent for the future. Contact us at office@spider-net.at.
You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, including the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
